spiritual jazz is a term that comes to mind when describing this lp because it uplifts you into a spiritual state. Vinnie Johnson from stark reality on the drums , pretty much all you need to know , more of a modal fusion jazz effort than a avant-garde fuzz guitar jazz rock lp. The guitar is great but no fuzz box, the bass is heavy and has that chorus sound , drums insane , sax on fire . It’s great.
